Founded and led by Phillip Olivier, Freddie Olivier, and Louis Olivier, the company brings over two decades of hands-on industry experience to every project.

With deep roots in South Africa’s mining sector, Sure Focus has been delivering precision drilling and blasting solutions since 2001. Our commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality results has earned us trust across coal opencast projects throughout the region.
WE STARTED IN 2001
Founded by the Olivier family, Sure Focus began as a focused drilling and blasting team and has grown into a full-scale operation serving Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Swaziland.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our capabilities to include blasting, dewatering, borehole and wireline drilling, as well as custom rig rebuilds and equipment maintenance—all backed by our own fleet of advanced rigs.
